Last month, on June 17, Matenrou Opera‘s (摩天楼オペラ) successful tour, “The Fifth Element TOUR”, was concluded at Akasaka BLITZ. After traveling through eleven cities in Japan, the band’s performances were captured in over three-hundred photos!

In this exact moment, at Gallery LE DECO in Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, those photos are on display at Matenrou Opera’s “The Fifth Element TOUR Photo Exhibition. However, there’s more to this exhibit than just looking through hundreds of images. You’ll have to pay if you want to get in, which is no problem; an admission ticket only costs a mere 1,000 yen, with it comes a free “Live art cheki” (photos from the lives printed on chekis). Once the guests step inside, they’ll have the options to purchase additional chekis, tour goods from the corresponding tour, the opportunity to get a closer look at the band’s costumes worn during the tour, an A4 sized, fifty-page photo-book (with photos selected by the band members!), or the option to buy photos shown at the exhibition in three different sizes, frame included (they’re quite expensive, from 3,000 yen for a small photo or as much as 8,000 for large!). Sounds neat event, right? And an excellent way to bring memories of each gig to life.

This is a bit late of a notice for today, but if you’re interested or know someone who would be, you’ll have more chances to visit the exhibit until July 26. See more details below:
