By now many of us are probably familiar with existence of cat cafés in Japan, but have you ever heard of a tavern filled with monkeys as entertainers? The Youtube channel ‘Abroad in Japan‘ explores a typical night at the Kayabukiya Tavern, located north of Tokyo, about an hour away.

The Kayabukiya Tavern looks like a regular tavern on the outside, and just like the outside, the inside looks quite normal as well. Though, it is when the clock hits 8 o’clock where the highlight and the uniqueness comes to light, beginning with a group of monkeys storming out from the kitchen. They quickly get into their work mode and starts serving customers then later performs various tricks, sometimes they also steal your food.
